VX1000 Issue Can't Post

I own a DCR VX1000, things have been going pretty well but lately I keep getting this weird issue. I'll be recording and segments of the recorded footage get odd frame skip/frame "gits." I don't know how else to explain it, but I can post a video link if that would help.

Re: [Mateo_HH] VX1000 Issue [In reply to] Can't Post

Alright, I think the issue is due to the cold. The three times it came up, it was chilly out (5-25 degrees C.) The reason I really feel this is the reason, is because when I was filming a show for a band I'm working with, the first 3-4minutes didn't come out at all (came out really bad), but after that it recorded 100% fine, we musta been outside in the cold waiting to get inside while it was around 10 degrees. Could this be correct ? If so, what would you recommend buying for the camera to make it hold the warmth easier?
