VX1000 Luminance Problem (or something wierd) Can't Post

Thanks in advance for any help on this,

The last few days shooting I have run into this wierd problem where the image looks noisy in all the well exposed areas, It's sort of like having zebra bars enabled. When the problem started it would go away if I turned the camera on and off and the problem was never actually recorded to tape. Now it doesn't go away any more and the problem is recorded to tape. My guess is that this is some sort of IRE signal problem but I've never seen one before so I donno.

I uploaded a quicktime file of this in the hopes that someone knows what I'm dealing with: http://wave.prohosting.com/bskateb3/lumiglitch.avi (I had to change the extension to avi for it to upload so you'll have to change it back to .mov once you download)(8.7mb)

Also clip 2 that looks messed up through the viewfinder still looks messed up through the viewfinder when I send it back to the camera via firewire even though the captured clip looks fine.

any ideas of what this is would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ivan
