VX1000 and Windows XP Can't Post

All-
I am trying to capture video from my VX1000 to Ulead DVD Movie Factory via FireWire on Windows XP. My camera is not being recognized AT ALL. I have installed XP Service Pack 1a, but no dice. I keep getting "No Capture Driver Available in System" message when trying to capture in Ulead. Anyone have a solution?
Thanks much.

Re: [X-Chris] VX1000 and Windows XP [In reply to] Can't Post

i bought my 1000 off ebay about a year ago and i had the same problem even after installing sp1a and i found that one of the pins on the ilink port on the camera was bent..so i took it apart and unbent it with a small jewerlers screwdriver. havent had a single problem since then and now i have 2 1000's there great!
