VX1000 image is slightly solarized??? Can't Post

The image in my VX1000 (viewfinder and when displayed on a monitor) looks slightly solarized, but the colors are all correct, sort of like if it was displaying only 1000 colors instead of millions, and its seems like it has lost contrast. When I tried to load up footage taken before the effect started, the footage has the effect on it (in viewfinder and on computer) but when loaded from a different camera the footage looks fine. So where could the problem be coming from and does anyone know how to fix it? if i send it off will it be expensive to fix? thanks guys.

Hi: I am having the same problem you are describing. Have you found out what the problem was? Also did you get it fixed and if so, where and how much?
