VX1000 wont turn back on!!!	Can't Post

i was skatin one night and filmin this guy doin a run and i tripped on my wheel and my camera scraped the ground but didnt hit it hard or anything...now it wont turn on...if anybody can help me with this that would be great...thanx!

first thing would be to plug the camera in and make sure the problem is not just in the battery compartment.
then failing that the best idea would be to find a good production rental place and get them to have a look at it.
the best thing about these places is that the guy will have worked alot with vx1000, hey know how to solve problems without just replacing fixable parts, and they are always way cheaper than sony.
there work is still gauranteed too.
tell them what happened as there is actually a lot of circuitry under the tripod mount so your problem might lay there too.
