VX2000 & Canon WD-58 Can't Post

Hi, I've read many times that Canon's 0.7x WD-58 wide
angle is an excellent choice for VX2000. They say it
doesn't show any vignetting - but does this mean it
does not vignette in the tv safe area or that it doesn't
vignette at all? I mean, even if it shows vignetting
only in the overscan area, that would make some effects
(like PIP or image tiles) very problematic. What's your
experience, can you see any vignetting in an image
captured through firewire on your computer screen?
