VX2000 Audio Can't Post

I'm fairly new to using this camera to shoot weddings. Does everyone shoot with manual audio control or auto?

Does this have a mic attenuator control?

Thanks

Greg

For me, it depends on the situation.

I tend to trust the auto setting, if I'm using the onboard mic. (ambient stuff)

...if using an external mic, I almost always go manual.

We leave it on auto for the on-board mic or our Samson wlreless. When the ME66 goes on, we switch to manual and the set the level to 1/4 or 1/3. Works pretty well.
