VX2000 and reds... Can't Post

The TRV900 dosen't record reds that well, i.e. reds seem to bleed and blur when recorded. Does the VX2000 have this problem, how well does it record reds. Also, how good is the time lapse function on this camera. I've heard it's not a "true" time lapse function, and it puts excessive wear on the heads of the camera. Please post if you know, thx.
