VX2000 as a D to A converter Can't Post

Hi Folks,
I'm wondering if I can output the edited video(Its 3 hours long) on my laptop(via firewire port) through my vx2000 to my vhs recorder or do I need to buy a separate converter and if so any recomendations of make and model I should purchase.
Many Thanks

Yes you should be able to use your CamCorder as a converter as you desire. (Even the DCR-VX1000 will do this.~tom
