VX2100 Mic / Light Adaptor Can't Post

Does anyone know of a bracket out there where I can mount a shotgun mic and a light (HVL-20) using the single accessory shoe on the VX2100?

I have found 2 possibilites, however one bracket which mounts in the underside tripod screw mount doesnt give you enough space to open the LCD. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...e=categoryNavigation

The second bracket which mounts in the shoe puts the light off center. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...e=categoryNavigation

Any suggestions??

Take a look at this from Mighty Wondercam, called the Mini Rover.

It works great and you can attach your quick release to the bottom as well. I use a VX2100 with Beachtek XLR box attahced to it and the Mini Rover attached to the Beachtek.

I place mic shotgun mic on the handle and my light goes on the camera hotshoe.

Works great for me.

BTW, I have the Cool-Lux MD-3000 Light and Sound Bracket and don't like it as it puts too much weigh and strain on the camcoder hot shoe for my taste.

Thank you, I will take a look at it. Does it still allow you to open the LCD, I had that issue with the first bracket.

"That's interesting to know as I had been considering that one."
Yeah, the bracket is ok, bt it sits a little too tall on the hotshoe for my taste, and when I hookup a mic on it, there is a bit too much noise from the bouncing of my mics on it.
It might be good if used off the top of the camcorder hotshoe and set lower somehow.
I still prefer the bracket handle for stableness and ease of use.
