VX2100 questions Can't Post

Hi guys, is there a way to check the hours meter on a VX2000 and 2100? I just bought a used one of each and was curious if it was possible to see how much it was used. Additionally, I remember reading somewhere that on the 2100 you could view simultaneously through the viewfinder as well as the LCD but can't seem to figure out how. Is this possible?

Thanks.

I believe that you'd need an RM-95 remote to check the hours. You can run the EVF and the LCD at the same time if you turn the LCD 180 degrees and put it in "mirror" mode. You can get a manual here:
