VX 2100 lens hood for my VX 2000 ? Can't Post
Do anybody out there know if it is possible to put the new lens hoods for the VX 2100 on my VX 2000?
I am talking about the one with the built-in lens-protection, and the one that can be used with the VCL HG0758 wide-angle lens.

From What I've heard... yes the lens hood is backwards compatible with the VX2100. I am 99% sure.

I suspect it will fit. I have a PD170 with the new lens hood and it fits on my VX2000's and PD150.

YES....it works. ALSO the WA attachment for the PD 170 fits the VX 2100.

Yep I ordered a VX2100 lens hood (with integrated lens cap) from Sony and it fit fine on my old VX2000.

yes you should be able to they i think are the same bayonet mount. the VX1000 is different it has a smaller lens.
