What is resolution for a "snapshot" ona 2100? Can't Post

I can't find this in the manual and I am under the impression if I take a still from the camera itself it will be higher resolution than 720 x 480?

Using the photo mode on the VX2100 (power switch set to "Memory"), and the quality set to superfine, the resulting images are 640 x 480 resolution. Doesn't sound impressive compared to multi-megapixel digital still cameras, but the images are sharp and make decent 4 by 6 prints. I also use the images in photo montages, titles in my videos, jewel case inserts and DVD covers, and printed on the disks too. I like and use this ability of the VX2100 quite a bit.

The reason for this is because it will take a still that is the size of an SD television screen, at the best resolution you can get for an SD image. They aren't designed for larger than SD.
