advice for a new dcr-hc1000 owner Can't Post

hey everyone!

despite the negative reviews of the dcr-hc1000, i decided to for it anyways :P i wanted a point & shoot dv cam that had excellent quality.

i was wondering what accessories i should be purchasing into for my camera? i'm totally new to the video world, so i know nothing :P also, what are good brands for lenses and filters? i think i might want a wide-angle lens.. thanks!
