capturing on a ATA-100 or a Firewire HD, very significant Can't Post

Hi
I whant to know if the hard disk of the computer are very significant, just like an ATA-100 , SCSC-2 and a Firewire Hard drive. For a good price/quality, whant does it be the better.
Of course, i plan to buy the DV500 for do realtime editing without rendering a lot... and i plan to use, 2 hd ata-100 40 gigs.
