drop frame sound but only on the sound of clips shot on pd-150 HELP PLS Can't Post

I have a pd-150. have shot a bunch of clips that i'm noticing stuttering in clips in a way that the clips sound like they have drop frames but only appears in the audio of the clips. when i'm capturing the clips eventhough on the monitor they sound ok and those drop frame sounds are not that often the clips loaded on the computer have this problem very often and the clips are almost unuseable. I hav tried 3 different firewires and 2 computer using Premiere PRo and the problem continues.
also in recording a file through firewire to the camera sometimes this problem occures. am i dealing with a setting problem or a bad unit?
if the unit has a problem what could cause this problem?

the clips are shot on DVSP 48k and the edited file is edited on a 48k format.
please help me with an answer.

Get Info on your clips and check that they are exactly 48k and not 47.9998 or 48.0001 or something similar. If they are not 48k, you can render them or reimport them into the project or recapture them, perhaps from a different device.
