good vx1000 mic? Can't Post

hey,
whats a good mic i can get for my vx1000? i also wondered where is a good place to get a rain cover for it? also any tips for filming in the snow would be great. thanks

The Sennheiser ME66 is a good directional shotgun mic ME64 is less directional-

If the snow is real wet you may need a rain cover but not if it is sub freezing.

Filming in snow environment in general don't require a rain cover. I have been skiing with a PC110E and filming as is. I have not taking my PD170 skiing though.
