how do i reset vx1000 memory	Can't Post

sorry some how my post was deleted.

i had a problem with my broken eject button telling the camera a tape was jammed (the tape with a line through it sign) now i have had the whole tape panel replaced but the people who did it did not know how to reset the internal memory which holds thses errors and warnings.

Turn you camera on take the battery out and leave the camera on with no power on it for 30-60 seconds then put the battery back on
