i need help! Can't Post

Ok, I really want a VX-1000! I'm not sure if I should trade my GL1 though. Is the VX-1000 better than the GL1? I don't care about zooming too much. The thing I care most about is the all around quality. Also, is the VX-1000 hard to use and does it have a IEEE 1394 thing? I must sound so gay. But I thought that you guys could help me out. I think Im gonna trade my Canon GL1 for a VX-1000 but I just need to confirm that my idea is a good one. Thank you so much for your time! Email me if you can or just post a reply.
