laptop PCMCIA IEEE 1394 card that suits VX1000 Can't Post

Hi everyone, im actually looking for a Laptop PCMCIA IEEE 1394 firewire (or i-link) card for my laptop for quick transfer video from my VX1000 to my laptop. I did a research and few number like Unibrain, Ratoc or SIIG does suit VX1000, What about if i purchase any brand Firewire PCMCIA card, will it work with my vx1000?im running win 2000, using pinnacle studio v 8 and adobe premiere. Will they sync with my VX1000? Wat else do i need beside pcmcia firewire card and 4-6pin cable? In short, please suggest anything... Thx for the attention and time..
