off color viewfinder Can't Post

anyone know why the image in my VX-1000 viewfinder has such a pink hue to it suddenly? it always worked great before and gave accurate color reproduction. i have tried going into the camera menu and changing the EVF settings. fiddling with the chroma only makes it more pink looking (when increasing in chroma) or fades out all of the color altogether (when decreasing chroma). the luma is no help of course. the ribbon cable is completely intact and there are no filters or exotic lenses on the camera. the built in UV filter and lens are in great shape. manually white balancing does not help and the recorded image still looks perfect when playing it back.
what is causing this????????????

wow this is odd, have u fixed it up? Im in the position of curious. However, from the story u described, this sounds like an old LCD that has run out its liquid pixel and needs new replacement like a computer LCD that may all turn yelow... But im not really positive, go to diagnost the LCD from your local repair centre and let me know wats been happening =) hope that everything goes fine.
