I'm just curious about what they pay for contributing footage. So if anyone knows please reply. How much do staff filmers get paid? I've been told progression will pay contributing filmers $20 per trick. Any accuracy to this? I'm just curious how it all works.

It varies from company to company, and can change depending if your stuff is opener material etc.......

I am starting a job at 411VM pretty soon. I don't think you get paid quite that much though. I mean its only a video magazine. Well, I think 411 pays pretty good though but I don;t know about the other ones. I don't really care about the money though. Filming is enough to make me happy. GOOD LUCK! BTW, These video magazines require a 3 chip camera with death lense. If you don't have a death lense just yet, youll have to take some long shots. Peace, ROBERT

you don't get paid very much. i mean, you can if your footage is top notch, but thats not easy. opener tricks in 411 are like 500 dollars. i know that in progression, single tricks are 20$ and runs are 40$. definately not a living off of it. but good luck anyway.
