vx-2000 used any good? Can't Post

I just got a used vx-2000 and there are some minor scratches in it.When you look in the viewfinder you can see that there is a black frame in there around the actual image. The edges of this frame are not straight, instead it looks as if some parts have chipped off..
Is this normal or should i return it?
Another thing,i got a protevtive filter and the uv-filter for the vx2k and there are tiny scratches in the filter..is that really bad or will it not have a major effect?
