wide angle lens	Can't Post

I am going to be using a VX2000 on a boat for the next 14 days and was looking for advise on buying a wide angle lens,which one to get, will the polarizer still fit? Is there a problem with vianetting, will it affect the zoom? Then How is the best way to keep the lens clean of water beads, is there a trick? ie RainX?
