A Crash course on shooting a Professional Feature with my new Sony 2000, please. Can't Post

I want to shoot a short and and a narrative feature on my new Sony DV 2000, and I will appreciate any advice on how to achieve the best picture the camera can deliver. I have seen Bamboozle and Personal Velocity, I would like pictures as good or better than those. Thank you.

Take a course in lighting. Lighting, not the camera itself, is the key to the best images.

One place to start is Elite Video's excellent "Digital Lighting Magic" instructional DVDs.
Another is Ross Lowel's classic book, "Matters of Light and Depth".
Yet a third basic text is Herbert Zettl's "Sight, Sound, Motion". Zettl has several other worthwhile texts as well.

Also, you can check out DV Creators.net DV Enlightenment DVD. It's very well made.
