Another Teacher Opportunity Can't Post

I've copied and pasted the following from a mail I received from the Radio and Television News Directors Foundation. This is just one more of their efforts to support the growth of new electronic journalism programs in high schools nationwide. This one is directed to teachers starting new programs...but the camp itself may be of interest to teachers who are relatively inexperienced with the technology.

RTNDF Scholarships for Teacher Training at Camp STN
Back by popular demand, we're awarding twelve all-expenses-paid scholarships for high school teachers to attend this summer's sold-out Camp STN at Hillcrest High School in Springfield, Missouri, July 24-29. RTNDF will select twelve applicants who want to start new broadcast journalism programs at their high schools and who need intensive, hands-on technical training from experts and veteran broadcast journalism educators. This week-long camp, produced by the Student Television Network, will teach teachers how to edit digital video using Final Cut Pro, video photography techniques using the latest in miniDV camera technology, as well as everything else you need to know to put together a news broadcast and get your own program up and running. There is no better, more intensive, broadcast training workshop available to high school teachers anywhere in the country.
We are taking applications now, so download the scholarship application from below and apply today! This email also contains an attached PDF version of the application form.
