Camcorder Mics Can't Post
Anyone have any suggestions on microphones with a 1/8" mini plug to use with typical camcorders for interviews? Brands/pricing?

We have tried both the 1/4">mini and XLR>1/4">mini adapter thing, but the cables don't get a good connection.

Since you already have a microphone, what you really need is a good connector. Take a look at the XLR adapter boxes sold by BeachTec or by Sign Video. You can find them at http://www.markertek.com or at http://www.signvideo.com

There ARE mics with 1/8" connectors, but most of them tend to be of mediocre quality.
