Conversion from DV-AVI to AVI Can't Post

Hi,
I captured a movie from a camcorder, and recorded that in my computer. The format was DV-AVI or AVI2. I want to convert this format to plain AVI, so that I can use certain editing programs. Does anyone has an idea on how to do this?

You have to make sure that the Codec that was used by your capturing tool/program is also available to your editing programs. Check Codec related information that came with your capturing program.

Many editing programs will accept an AVI Type 2 file. If yours doesn't, try downloading and using the Canopus DV Converter utility, http://www.canopus.com.
