DV Editing Software - Any recommendations Can't Post

Hi, I have just bought a Sony TRV33E Handycam, and would like to get some recommendatons about editing software. I mainly want to burn CDs for playing on my DVD player, perhaps with some titles. I have just purchased a firewire card and cable...just need the software now !
I have heard that Pinnacle Studio 8 has lots of bugs, and need something which will be easy to use, and reliable.
Thanks
Ian

Take a look at Ulead's Video Studio 7...not only can you edit DV with it it also has authorware built in for DVD, VCD, SVCD's. Ulead offers a FREE 30 day download...found at Ulead.com
