Unless the recording VCR is equipped with a "flying erase head" (only found on a very few high end consumer VCRs), there is a very good chance that your edit points will show a brief second of snow, or picture roll. Just a fact of life. If you really want to do clean edits, then look into editing on a computer, or think about buying professional decks and an edit controller.
