Educational DVD Can't Post

Hi all,

I apologize in advance as I'm sure this has been answered many times before, but I need some advice on shooting an Educational DVD for a medical client. This is their first time and mine, so I wanted to be armed first to ensure they are getting a great DVD. I have mostly done weddings so far but this is obviously an area I want to expand into from a business perspective.

They will be having a presenter(s) with slideshow. From this I will produce an interactive DVD (chapters etc) at the appropriate points. At present I have a Canon GL2 with a VL-3 and a VL-10i light for it.
Having never done this before, I'm thinking that 1 camera should be sufficient for this for a mid-shot, or should I obtain another camera for a tighter angle. Also for the powerpoint presentation, I'm thinking that I would be capturing jpegs from it and incorporating them at the appropriate points in the dialog. I will also be using iRivers and Minidisc for audio capture as I don't have a wireless setup at present.

Can anyone else give me any advice as to my plan so far, or any help as to other things I should consider to ensure I provide an excellent service and start off on the right foot.

Thanks very much everyone.

Sean.
