: I want to duplicate a VCR to another VCR. How do I do that ???? Use one VCR as your player and one VCR as your record. On the back of your VCR (somtimes the front) there are inputs and outputs sometimes color coded yellow, red and white. You need to go to radio shack and get a set of A/V editing cables. They will be color coded yellow, red, and white also. OK, now on your "Play" VCR (the one that has the original tape in it) hook up the cables to the OUTPUT. Then on your record VCR hook up the cables to your INPUT. See? What goes out must go in. Now very imp. Make sure your record VCR is in "vcr" mode (not TV) also (you might need to read the manual on this) the record VCR must be in "LINE" mode which means that the REC VCR is getting its signal from the lines/cables that you hooked up. Now what I would do is hook up a TV to the record VCR. PUt the TV on ch 3/4 whatever you are set up for and play the tape in the PLAY VCR. IF you hooked everything up right you will see the picture on the TV that is hooked up yo the REC VCR. One last thing, unless this is just prcatice, make sure your REC VCR is in SP mode instead of LP or EP. These refer to the speed the tape is recorded. SP will give you a better picture. Hope this helps, please let me know if you need more info. Manuals are invaluable in this case. Steven
