We buy a DVD Recorder (LG4081B), and begin my problem:
After many tests burning DVD's with different softwares (Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Encore, DVD Arquitech, and nero), i couldn't not to play this discs in my DVD player (only in PC) (my DVD player it's a SAMPO clone).
But great it was my surprise when proving in others DVD's players of my friends all the discs worked to perfeccion!.
Then begin to prove, and is that if I duplicate an original DVD, the duplicate if it is seen in my DVD player, and I could reach several conclusions:
1.- It is not my recorder, because all the discs work perfect in others dvd's.
2.- It is not the disc, because the copies of mvies that I did were in the same disc (Princo)
3.- The problem must be in some characteristic of the MPG2 that generates all the softwares, since the MPG2 of movies if they work without problems.
4.- Probe to already create the archives with VBR, CBR, etc. and does not work.
Obvious dvd will buy another one, I suppose that the chip of dvd to player that I have does not support some characteristic of the MPG2 that I am generating.
What it interests to me to know is that it can be? maybe some configuration at the time of codifying the MPG? I always generate them by defect and work in the others dvd players, but in dvd player for anything. The error that it gives me is "No Disc".
Some suggestion? somebody knows as it is the used configuration to generate the original MPG2 of dvd's?
- CBR?, VBR?,
- Field order? Upper? Lower?
- One or two pass?
- Frames Number between B I and P?
- Frame Names between I frames?
My deduction is that my DVD does not support some detail in the compression of the archives, for that reason I want to know as it is the used exact configuration in the original DVD's, to make the attempt with those values.
Some other detail more? Consistent answers please:) they are not going to me to say that it changes of disc because I already did it...:)
