Problem transfering to DVD. HELP!!! Can't Post

I Have a project which i am creating on AVID DV express it is 1:55min long ,the create a DVD option tells me that i need 14gigs of space, what do I need to do to shrink the size of my project and transfer it to DVD.

It seems to me that you're trying to use the DVD disc as a storage medium instead of trying to decode the DV file into a DVD mpeg2 file. If this is the case, then your safe bet is to chop your project every 19 mins in order to fit each one of them into a single layer 4.7g DVD disc.

You need to transcode the video from DV AVI to MPEG-2. Most editing software has a built-in MPEG encoder that will do this. If yours doesn't, try the encoder at http://www.tmpgenc.com
