SONY TV Can't Post

Hi,

I have a Sony television in United Arab Emirates, which is Malasian made having a following specification.

Maker : Sony
Model: Trinitron Color TV Flat Screen KV-XG29
Color System : AUTO/PAL/SECAM/NTSC3.58/NTSC4.43
Power : 220 to 110

I would like to take this TV to Canada. Is any body know that, will it work there? As per specification it should work guess. Your response in this regard would be highly apprecaited.

It's a multi-format television, and it will work darn near anywhere in the world...including Canada. Whether you like the programming you get there is another matter! :)

Just check if it has a NTSC (or PAL/NTSC switchable) tuner. In most cases you may not need a tuner if you are going connect it to a cable network. AV inputs may be enough.

Hi guys,
I wrongly mentioned the model its SONY Trinitron KV-XG25(M80), rest is same. It has a option through remote you can switch to any Color System (AUTO/PAL/SECAM/NTSC3.58/NTSC4.43
