Sony ImageMixer Camera not found error

Sony ImageMixer Camera not found error Can't Post
I am trying to set up my daughter's DCB-TRV-350 Sony camera ImageMixer on my computer (since she doen't have one) so she can record onto a cd the birth of her twins within the next few days. I loaded ImageMixer from the CD, the USB driver from the CD, connected the camera using the connecting cord to my USB ports but keep getting the same diagnostic. Camera not found.
What do I need to do. I am using WIN98 SE, 800mh AMD process with 512 MB memory and 20GB HD.

Several things to check:
-Make sure the camera is in playback mode, and plugged in and turned on before you boot the computer.
-Win 98 has very limited USB support. Make sure that you've installed all the latest Win 98 patches and updates.
-Make sure that the USB port you're plugging into is actually connected to the motherboard. Check the system BIOS to see if there's anything in there that needs to be turned on for USB functionality.

He comprado esta camara digital y me ha venido con el software PIXELA, he instalado usb driver, pero mi máquina no la reconoce.
me pide un driver que no lo tengo en el disco de instalacion.
Me gustaria me ayudaran con es informacion.
sistema operativo: windows 2000
procesador amd 2500
memoria RAM 512
TENGO QUE BAJAR ESE DRIVER DE ALGUN SITIO? CUAL?

every time i try to record from sony handycam digital 8 dcr trv245e via usb i get usb failure notice
