Ulead Video Studio 7 Can't Post

Hi ALL,

I recently purchased Gforce FX 5200 with ulead video studio 7 video software to start editing my video clips using this software.
The only problem I am facing is how I will edit my video clip I need to see all frames I followed the instruction on how trimming a clip.
When I drag and drop the clip to the Timeline I see only the first frame of the clip and all the rest are black. How can I make them to appear the Timeline? So I will be able to see which one part of the clip to be edited.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

In UVS7, on the bottom area of the screen (to the left hand side) you will see a couple of vertical tabs.
The first is for clips view, and the second one is the timeline view.

For clip view, you will only see the first frame.

For timeline view, you will also see only the first frame follow by all black.
But if you notice, there is a little triangle on the top of the timeline. Drag that to the point you want and you will see the current frame the pointer is on in the preview window.

Hope this clarify things for you. :)

VS7 has only 3 options to show the clip in the time line...1. Thumbnail & file name 2. File name only
3. Thumbnail only. So the only thing to do at this time is to follow the advice of the previous posting
and move the tiny triangle pointer to the point in the time line which you want to view on the preview screen. I upgraded to VS8, but it has the same 3 options.
