Video Hum Can't Post

Hello, my class records all of our school board meetings. We have a real bad hum in all our videos. I have tried taking the electrical ground out of several things we have to plug, none of them seem to work. Any idea what is causing this or how I can eliminate it.

Not sure if this is the cause, but I had some bad hum coming from my VX2k and it was the battery vibrating. I stuffed some tissue to hold the battery tight and that fixed it.

Re: Video Hum [In reply to] Can't Post

Don't know if this is the problem, but it's always a good idea to make sure no electrical cords are crossing/touching any cable that carries audio. Someone also once told me that florescent lights can interfere with audio. Maybe someone here can respond to whether that's true and if so, how to resolve it.
