Video for sports Can't Post

HEY GUYS THANKS FOR THE ADVICE. I DID SHOOT A LITTLE BIT USING 24P WITH THE PANASONIC AG-DVX100A. BUT I DIDN'T LIKE THE JERKINESS. DO YOU THINK CHANGING THE SHUTTER ON 24P WOULD MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE? I USED A PANASONIC DVC PRO AJ-215 LAST YEAR, THIS SHOOTS IN 60i RIGHT?

IT'S A HIGHLIGHT FILM FOR MY SON'S PEE WEE FOOTBALL TEAM. THE KIDS LOVE IT. I SELL THE DVD'S THE THE PARENTS AND WE USE THE MONEY FOR END OF THE SEASON PARTY. IT'S A LOT OF WORK BUT REALLY FUN.

IF YOU HAVE ANYMORE IDEAS I'D APPRECIATE IT. I DIDN'T KNOW THESE FORUMS EXISTED, IT'S GREAT. AGAIN THANKS A LOT.

You can try messing with the shutter, but you may find that you have to increase the shutter so much, that you run into dark video. The DVX does do 60i and when you use it, you might want to increase the shutter to help with motion blur from kids running around. Understand that anytime you increase the shutter, it requires more light for the camera. One idea would be to shot some crowd shots, or sideline shots in 24 or 30p, that would give you a little different look for some cutaway segments.

Have fun,
