Hi I have the great honor of producing a wedding movie for a relative of mine. When doing this I have found that I loose a lot of quality when I transfer the movie from my DV-camera to my PC and I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I have a Sony DCR-TRV8E, a PC with 1300 GHz, 256 Mb RAM and Firewire. I have used a software called VideoWave III to download the movie to my PC. What is the best quality I can get? I only seem to get a framesize of 360 x 288 and I think I have seen somewhere that a DV-camera, such as mine, produces a framesize of 720 x 576 or something like that. Is that correct and if so what can I do differently? Should I use a different software? Regards Pontus
