USING ULEAD VIDEO STUDIO 5.0 Can't Post

I recently purchased ulead video studio 5.0 video software to start editing my video clips using this software.
I have managed to capture the video clips into my computer from the analog video deck (not digital deck). And I have also managed to do all the necessary editing.
The only problem I am facing is how I will record the clips which I have edited in a computer, back into the video Cassette in an analog video deck.
Please help me.
Jimmy

Jimmy,
First we need a little more information regarding the output of your computer ... obviously you can input analog...also what OS are you running? If you recently purchased VS5...you better see about an update to your software...current version is VS 8...didn't even know VS5 was still avaiable...unless you bought it from a friend.

Version 5 came with one of my drives.

I found it a little cumbersome.
i downloaded the trial of version 8, and what a difference! For $45 to upgrade, I think I will do it.

Is ulead video studio really pressed in the eductional system with little to no ulead stuff in the work world?
I mean it's cheap but then so is Avid's low end stuff and they'll need to learn that interface.

I have used UVS5, then 6 then 7. Personal point of view is that its good for quick and simple clips.
currently using vega5. I think its much better for serious work. esp so if you need to sync with music tempo and such. of cos...premier and those are even better. but still havn't got time to learn that yet.

You need a Firewire interface, and a digital to analog converter. There are several ways to do this. Canopus makes a one-card solution that combines the two, the ACEDVio, or you can buy a Firewire card and a converter box.
