hi my name is jibi first time user of forum
i'am planing to buy a sony dcr trv355e digital camcorder and i'am very low in budget. so can i transfer my video to pc without buying a firewire card which is costly to me. can i use the usb connectivity of camcorder and transfer my video . then will it be clear in resolution
please help me

No. Video requires a Firewire connection. Firewire cards and cables aren't too expensive. I happen to have one for sale...$30 for the card and cable, plus shipping. Contact me offline.
One other point. You have an "e" model camcorder, which I believe is a European PAL model. This camcorder will probably not have DV input, so you'll need to figure out some way of getting the edited video back out of the computer onto tape.

dear sir,
i have a vedio mixing unit. i want degital output from sony handicam
model-355.to do this work, i am faceing a problem to capture vedio from your
degital camera to computer.

i have installed immagemix & usb driver software from cd
which is given with camera.

* but my P.C cannot find your camera by usb port
* but i have tasted that usb port by pluging another usb device
it works ok.
please give me the soloution as soon as possiable
