It depends on what digital video format you use and how much compression you apply. Uncompressed video will take up about 12GB for a ten minute clip. The DV format will use 2GB of space for every 9 minutes of video. If you capture as MPEG2, you can get two hours or more into less than 5GB. Other formats such as MPEG1 or DivX can give even higher compression. The tradeoff is in quality, of course.
