recapturing sound Can't Post

I bounced an entire video out to a digital8 and then recaptured it in final cut. After recapturing it my sound is crackling as if I've overloaded the two tracks that i capturing to. Does anyone know how to remedy this.

The overmodulation could have happened during the export process, or it could be that your current levels are set too high in FCP. First try lowering the volume on your new movie. If the crackling is still there, then go back to the step where you exported to D8, reduce the volume settings, re-render and re-export.
