You're trying to put too much video on one DVD. Your edited video is transcoded to a format called MPEG2. MPEG2 is a variable bitrate format. If you use higher bitrates, you get better quality, but can put less video onto a DVD. Lower bitrates allow more minutes of video, but at the expense of quality. One to one and a half hours is about the most you can expect to put onto a single DVD without introducing much visible degradation. Regards, Doug Graham Panda Productions
