wanted my animations in windows avi file recorded in a CD Can't Post

I had done some animations in the form of a story. It is in saved as windows avi file. The duration is only 4 minutes. But Ah! the file size is 7 GB. If I convert this to DVD file will the file size reduce so as to accommodate in a CD.

Sounds like it's recorded as an uncompressed AVI. Yes, if you transcode it to MPEG2 for DVD it'll be a lot smaller.
