Codeweaver to run windows apps on INTEL MAC Can't Post

I am in the process of looking to ahve a new stystem built for my audio and video editing. Going to switch to HD in the coming year.

I do video (on a PC) as a second business and work fulltime as a graphic designer (on a MAC). I might have to work from home in the near future for my graphic design and was thinking about purchasing a new MAC PRO Quad or 8 core system.
Since I truely love VEGAS and Soundforge and the new Intel MACS can run both OS's a MAC seems logical.

However I really don't want to run both a MAC and Windows OS on my MAC. I came across an application called CODEWEAVER that will let you run Windows apps on a new MAC INTEL system without the need of WIndows OS. It runs many many windows apps seamlessly without problem. But they haven't tested any Sony products.

Do you happen to know if Codeweaver can run Vegas and such on a MAC system?

Here is the website:

Re: [MLiebergot] Codeweaver to run windows apps on INTEL MAC [In reply to] Can't Post

I'd be concerned about how well Windows software could run without a copy of Windows installed to support it. My advice would be to request a trial version of the software to check out before buying it.
