Color Matching in Camera Can't Post

Hey...I need some help. I am starting a local cooking show, shooting on a Sony VX-1000 and a Canon Gl-2. I'd like to color correct one in-camera to match the other. Any recommendations? I color-balanced both to match on my NLE, but this takes too much time that I don't have. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

Re: [googlioboy] Color Matching in Camera [In reply to] Can't Post

Get a video switcher that lets you display two inputs side by side (or use two identical, calibrated monitors). Point both cameras at the same white object and do a manual white balance. Adjust the color values of one to match the other, if the camera permits this. If not, use some colored gels and white balance one camera through them to get the closest match you can. Using a bluish gel will shift the picture toward the red end, and vice versa.

One thing I have heard is to shoot 20 seconds or so of the same white object with both cameras to help match things in post if need be.
