End actions in Encore Can't Post

I would like to go back to the main menu at the end of each chapter. I read in the manual that I must have one large .avi file. So, I set chapter points at each segment. When navigating to say, to chapter 3, once it runs that segment I want it to return to the main menu. I tried the override but it did not work. How do I do this?

Re: [Danlson] End actions in Encore [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm not the biggest wiz of Encore, but I don't know of any way to end playback of a segment before it reaches the end. So it seems to me having a single .avi file is just what you don't want.

...maybe I'm wrong.

What you are trying to do would be a snap if each segment were it's own .avi file. In fact, doing it that way would allow you to go back to the menu after each segment, and also still allow you to have working chapter points within the segs, if you wanted or needed them.

So I guess I'm kind of confused as to why you want to do it the way you've described.
