Firecut Switcher anybody use one? Can't Post

I've been considering a firecut for ages now.
Thought I'd wait for the audio enabled version
For months and months they didn't seem to be available, even the Laird front page wouldn't directly link to it.
B&H emailed me yesterday saying they were in stock again
Do they even work for dv, haow about hdv
But I digress. Do you suppose the switcher will handle m2t hd mpeg 1440x10801 @25mbs firewire output from a Sony HC1 or FX1?
I can find no testimonials pro or con
Are there happy users?
